Joining our experienced team of industry experts, ex-top-tier management consultants, you'll gain extraordinary insights and exposure to our business and its ambitious leaders. We welcome you to an open, agile, and action-oriented environment, where we set the bar high and achieve our goals together!
Some Words About Your New Workplace
We're a leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for mining and rock excavation with an ambition to grow and continuously add value across all our businesses - utilizing our global footprint and customer focus. We work in an environment of inclusive collaboration, agility, and innovation where we nurture a growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing. And last but not least, we're proud to offer you a workplace where team spirit and work life balance really matter!
About the job
As Strategy Manager, you're a key player in managing, tracking process and carrying out major strategic initiatives and complex global projects. Taking the responsibility for driving our strategy forward, you work with our management teams to facilitate the implementation of initiatives that support our ambition of profitable growth - including exploring new opportunities, managing investments, and M&A's. Your scope ranges from driving business development activities and improvement projects to supporting strategic planning cycles.
Collaboration is another central aspect, and you engage with our stakeholders and the wider business to identify opportunities, synergies, risks and gaps connected to our offering and customer channels. By tracking and evaluating data and information, you also support M&As, divestments and portfolio management, where your knowledge and insights are truly valuable for us as you contribute to provide recommendations on ways forward.
You report to, and work in close cooperation with, the Strategy, MI and M&A Team Lead. The location is preferably our office in Stockholm (Sweden) and some international travel is a natural part of your job. As we value flexibility and a good mix of work, family life, and interests, we offer a hybrid working setup where some days can be spent at home or other location.
About you
To succeed in this position, you need a proven track record of managing complex projects and driving change initiatives in a global and cross-functional environment. We think that your experience is backed by a MSc in Business Management, Finance or Engineering, and you have extensive experience in management or strategy consulting. Ideally, you combine a background as a management consultant, preferably from one of the Big Five Management Consultancy firms, with work experience within the manufacturing industry. We operate worldwide, and you must be both aware and open-minded towards the cultural differences you encounter. This also means that you need great communication skills, and you're fluent in English.
You're curious, socially skilled, and flexible - quite a master of interactions and stakeholder management - and you combine this with excellent analytical abilities and a passion for conceptualizing findings. You're known for balancing independence with teamwork, and as a true doer, you prioritize tasks and follow up on our work - making sure we reach timely results with high quality. You have a confident and engaging approach, and you embrace feedback, new perspectives and sharing knowledge with others.
