We are looking for a Strategic Purchaser, EMEA region!

Job description

You will develop and manage the spend and supplier portfolio of Rubber & Polymet operations in the Supply Chain Region EMEA by continuous monitoring and achieving the relevant KPI:s. The manufacturing sites are situated in Ersmark, Trelleborg and Vereeniging and your main focus will be within Steel Category.

You will take an active part in the process of optimizing and drive commercial improvements on the Supplier base. The job also includes creating new opportunities, negotiating and maintaining commercial agreements and long-term relationships.

The position includes global travelling.

Requirements

You have a strong commercial drive and interpersonal skills which enables you to gain results and you co- operate and build trustful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

We believe you are a strong person with a mindset to drive results and growth by motivating and setting realistic targets. You have the ability to lead and implement change and are a self-motivated person with the ability to manage complexity in products as well as organization.

You have at least four years of experience in strategic sourcing and strong negotiation and collaboration skills. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and are willing to travel globally. You are familiar with working with ERP systems and is a excellent Excel user.
