Who are you?You are self-motivated and comfortable in displaying ownership and strategic lead in a global corporate capacity. You drive, coordinate and support the organization and bring new insights within the area enabling development and alignment with growth strategies. You are communicative, open and service minded, building and working through strong networks within as well as outside the company. You possess strong business insight, leadership and organizational skills.
About the jobAs a Standards Officer within the Corporate Standards & Regulatory Operations department you will coordinate and drive much of the Corporate standards related work within Alfa Laval. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining global generic working processes and setting guidelines for the entire organization. You will also support the line organization on specific issues in relation to your competence area. You contribute strongly to the overall standards strategy and to secure commitment from other key functions, stakeholders and internal initiatives. You are expected to actively network and represent the company externally to secure relevance and influence where appropriate within your competence area.
What you knowWe expect you to have a Master's degree or higher and at least 5 years of experience within standards related work in relevant industry. We believe you have knowledge of global standard bodies and organizations as well as experience and understanding of related working processes. You have experience and understanding of connecting external demands to internal engineering and sourcing needs. You have excellent research, documentational and editorial skills as well as excellent technical writing skills in English.
