hela Sverige As a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Support and Operations, this role leverages 16 years of extensive experience in Information Technology, specializing in complex middleware technologies. Leading an IKEA GINT infrastructure team, responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical operational environments. This position demands a deep understanding of Oracle middleware products, robust problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Support:
• Handle primary technical escalation for complex issues related to Oracle middleware environments, including WebLogic, SOA, OSB, and ODI.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of middleware infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes for critical production systems, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of middleware solutions.
• Provide expert guidance and support for database-related activities, particularly with SQL, impacting middleware performance and integration.
Technical Leadership & Mentoring:
• Lead and mentor junior team members within the IKEA GINT infrastructure team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Develop and implement best practices, standards, and procedures for middleware operations and support.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create comprehensive documentation to enhance team capabilities and operational resilience.
• Act as a technical liaison between different teams and stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
Automation & Efficiency:
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Ansible, WLST, Python and Shell Scripting to streamline operational tasks, reduce manual effort and improve system reliability.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across the Middleware landscape.
• Manage and maintain automation of scripts and tools, ensuring their effectiveness and security.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using PowerBI and Splunk to monitor system health, performance trends, and operational metrics.
• Analyze monitoring data to proactively identify potential issues, optimize performance, and inform capacity planning.
• Generate regular reports for management on system performance, incident trends, and operational achievements.
Strategic Planning & Delivery:
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for middleware infrastructure and operations.
• Lead technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and meet business requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance and solutioning for migration projects, such as FMW 12c to 14c, physical to Nutanix, and Oracle DB 12c to 19c.
Technical Expertise
• Middleware Platforms: Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Databases: SQL (strong proficiency).
• Automation Tools: Ansible, Shell Scripting, WLST & Python
• Monitoring & Reporting: PowerBI, Splunk.
• Operating Systems: Linux/Unix environments.
• Methodologies: Proficient in IT service management principles (e.g., ITIL) for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
