Volvo Group Purchasing has 120 BSEK in Purchasing annual spend, 2,550 suppliers in serial production, and 1,9 billion parts delivered to the Group Truck plants annually. We support the Volvo Group's mission 'Driving prosperity through transport solutions' by applying the principles of Code of Conduct and responsible sourcing to the purchasing processes.
Position Summary
As SQ&D auditor you will report to the Audit manager SQ&D and we have three open positions currently that we wish to fill. You will be part of a global team who perform audits to evaluate supplier capability, performance and social responsibility procedures for current and potential suppliers. You will support all regions with audits depending on request. SQ&D will continue with network of part time auditors but you as SQ&D auditor will have audits as your main responsibility.
The auditor will perform SEM, SMA and CSR live audit at supplier.
Frequent travelling is required for this assignment.
Main Responsibilities
• Evaluate suppliers and identify weaknesses and gaps through appliance of different tools such as:
• Supplier Evaluation Model (SEM)
• Safety Management Audit (SMA)
• Run live CSR audits on identified suppliers to ensure they fulfill social responsibility
• Present report into identified forum and stakeholders
• Develop our suppliers with follow up of gaps identified in the audits
Essential Skills and Needed Experience
• University degree in Engineering or 5 years of technical experience needed
• 3 year experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Department or similar
• Significant experience of leading audits
• Experience from various production processes
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing
• Understanding of Social Responsibility and importance
• Strong continuous improvement skills
• Fluent in English
• Other language skills are considered a merit
• Good communication skills at all levels
