Description
Tetra Recart is looking for a Thermal Process Specialist to secure and develop our competence in processing Tetra Recart packages. The position offers the possibility to work in an innovative and result oriented team within the D&E organisation.
Automation & Line equipment is a part of the Tetra Recart D&E organisation and we have the role to support development and customer projects with competences within Automation, Line equipment, Filling and Thermal process technology. In the area of thermal process we work with food safety and influence of retort process on package quality.
Main responsibilities
• Participate in development projects introducing new or improved thermal process solutions into the TRC packaging system. Cooperate with Line equipment engineers and 3 party suppliers to find the best solutions.
• Support our sales organisation with thermal process technology expertise in order to recommend heat transfer equipment solutions and processes in customer projects.
• Prepare, perform and analyse tests of heat process equipment and process related package quality.
• Follow regulatory and market demands regarding food safety of shelf-stable food.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you need to be a self-motivated person with a drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization and also to deliver result. You have great networking skills and an ability to work across borders. It comes easy to you to build trust for your knowledge and also to share your knowledge with others.
You have a University degree within food engineering or a Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in food technology. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
You also have at least 10 years work experience from food engineering and thermal processing in the food industry.
