You will part of Product Development Unit Baseband and responsible for driving baseband software product development by having competence and capability to seek full feature responsibility i.e. enabling feature requirements to become fully implemented and verified. This includes product ownership of the 4G and 5G Radio Base Station (RBS) baseband products as well as responsibility for development plans and securing maintenance of the products. We are spread across multiple location across globe.
Solution Package is a main requirement or part of main requirement which is deliverable to customer and has perceivable customer value. As a SP Driver (Solution Package Driver) you will be part of breaking down our main requirements together with teams. You will be grooming and prioritizing the backlog and making sure that the teams fully understand the value to be delivered. You will be closely work with our line manager, product manager, project managers, test managers and other supporting roles. In this position you will work with teams that has end-to-end responsibility for 5G baseband SW features or a part of the 5G architecture improvements together with teams across geographical locations.
A successful candidate will be highly motivated, autonomous and innovative. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the implementation and improvement of the 5G baseband software. It is vital to be flexible and thereby being able to handle the work needed in order for the team to achieve its goals.
You will
Guide teams in implementation of 5G baseband architecture, functionality and features.
Ensure the backlog is visible, open, and clear to all
Optimize the value of the work the Development Team performs.
Ensure the technical solutions developed fulfill the relevant internal and customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
Drive ways of Working improvement for team together with line managers.
Be responsible for End to End planning with help from teams and delivery of Solution Package.
Be responsible for End to End integration of Solution Package.
Secure resources in terms of both people and equipment for Solution package with support from line and program.
Build and present risk mitigation plan for solution package.
Drive and align status and collaboration across different stake owners in organization.
Together with the team groom the backlog and ensure that the right content is delivered on time.
To be successful in the role you must have
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
MSc in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge.
Proficient in English speaking and writing.
General Software development background.
System thinking and Problem-solving skills.
Ability to think out of the box to address risks and challenges until customer delivery.
Able to communicate and collaborate efficient across organizations.
Product development knowledge and working in a large organization.
Ability to explain and lead on all levels; developers, line managers, product managers and other tech leaders.
Lean and Agile knowledge and skills.
Coaching and mentoring skills.
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
Telecom proven experience is an added advantage.
Experience in project management or product ownership is an added advantage.
Multi-core processor programming experience is an advantage.
