In the position as Solution Manager for EEP you will work in close cooperation with the Program Director, Electrical & Electronics Architecture, the Solution Management team and be a natural coordinator across the technology streams to find alignment across the Embedded System platform.
In this role you will...
Lead global and cross-engineering teams through the design of the electrical and electronics systems by identifying the purpose and aim of the system, the component interface, and system behaviors.
Manage and facilitate product change breakdown in solution development initiatives within a portfolio
Secure competitive and timely system solutions for the application needs
Facilitate and guide teams throughout development and secure alignment between cross-functional interfaces
Lead concept investigation with cross technology- & vehicle streams and the cross functional interfaces to mature the concept for approval through different decision forums
Contribute to the implementation of platform strategies
Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and system architecture roadmaps
Contribute to continuously improve the way of working with streams and trains

We believe that you are knowledgeable in the embedded system, especially how the functions and services are realized through the application SW, the SW platforms (Volvo Autosar Platform, Linux, etc.), the electronics (ECUs) and the electrical components (sensors, actuators, etc.).
You have some experience with the SW development process and tool chains (incl. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), and a basic understanding of the challenges related to functional safety, cyber-security and data privacy.
You have the ability to look at things from a broader perspective and a mindset to "think outside the box", you possess excellent communications skills and can handle information input and output well.
You also have the ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items and are used to interact with other Technology Leaders or teams to identify and steer dependencies. You can monitor the product maturity at every identified milestone and find support from Committees to steer the common effort towards the same target. An experience in agile product-, project- or line management is an advantage.
