Solution delivery Unit DVP is a global unit within Volvo providing IT solution supporting all Volvo Group product development globally. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the area of product development are managed in an optimal way.
Solution Center Product and Aftermarket Documentation
The Solution Center Product & Aftermarket Documentation is the function, within DVP Solutions, that has the responsibility to managing the deliveries for all solutions in the product- & aftermarket documentation systems portfolio, such as KOLA, Rapid, Phoenix, SID, GRIPS, LISA, Protom, Gloria , Protus etc.. The Solution Center has full responsibility for runtime (cost, quality of service) and on the delivery of projects. The Solution Center is supporting roadmap design and long term plan in its area. It is then responsible to drive deliveries according to the various sub-portfolio roadmaps and plans.
We look for a Solution Leader for applications in the Sub Portfolio PDM Core
You will be a part of journey to develop Volvo's solutions for Product documentation (KOLA).
You will work close to the business end users to ensure fit for purpose solutions. You will identify their needs and define improvements for IT solutions to make the daily work more efficient. By securing the right prioritizations for the delivery you will contribute strongly to the overall quality of the solutions.
As a Solution Expert, you will act as a key resource for the IT solution towards the business. You will identify business needs and establish contract with the IT organization so they will deliver services according to you requirements.
As solution expert you will be a part of the Business Analyst team and cooperate closely with the Team Leader.
Key responsibilities
Solution
• Understand business needs and way of working with KOLA and PDM Logic.
• Propose improvements for the solutions (new functionality, version upgrade, configuration...)
• Managed the prioritization of the product backlog
• Track and monitor the IT deliveries, support and maintenance, from the IT delivery teams
• Secure user acceptance test
• Propose needed service level targets (through SLA)
• Manage license renewal
• Participate in projects as Product owner for requirements
Towards business
• Main point of contact for business requirements
• Set-up, drive and contribute to the Global Key User network
• Give input to the yearly Solution delivery plan within the budget frame
• Communicate EN estimates to the BSPM, Process Manager or equivalent
• Ensure effective end-user support with high quality
• Lead Solution Management Meetings (SMM)
Other
• You will drive the supplier relations
• Share knowledge and experiences within the Solution Leader community
• Act as an solution expert in early phases of project

Wanted competencies and experience
• Relevant business understanding of product development and PDM Logic is an advantage
• Experience from Product development and PDM Logic
• Experience as a Key user for the PDM solution is an advantage
• Experience from IT solution management
• Interest to drive global key users network
• Self-driven and target oriented
• Relevant university degree
Wanted profile
You have a background from relevant business processes within Product development. And/or you have experience from IT solution management, as a Business Analyst, Solution Expert, Solution Key User, IT Project Manager or similar.
Regardless of your background the right attitude and mindset is critical.
Since you will be part of a global unit, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. It is important you have an innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge. You also have a true can do attitude, a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach set objectives and targets.
Location will be in Gothenburg.
