We are now in an expansive phase of digitalization in the construction industry where IT workplace and mobility are a high priority. As a Solution Architect in the Workplace, Infrastructure Team you will be responsible for solution area "Workplace & Mobility". You will be filling the gap between Enterprise/Domain Architects and Technical Lead (Service Responsible) by understanding and translating business, security, and infrastructure requirements into technical solutions providing infrastructure for mobile initiatives.
Main tasks will be:
• Create overarching (cross technology) design solutions incl. architecture blueprints and detailed documentation to be used as basis for implementations.
• Together with domain architects be responsible and provide input in the technical roadmaps within the Workplace & Mobility domain incorporating technologies as: MDM, SCCM, Application Virtualization and Mobile Cloud Computing.
• Interfacing with the business and application teams, and in early stage identify possible conceptual design by understanding and translating requirements into technical solutions
• Own and lead development of solution areas "Workplace & Mobility" by initiate and lead design reviews of existing solutions together with multiple stakeholders (IT Solution Managers, Service Responsible, IT Security Managers etc.) to enable continuous improvement within IT Workplace and Mobility
• Oversee implementation of designs up to and including the seamless handover to the operations teams.
We require:
• Experience of architecting and integrating Infrastructure technologies used for providing mobility in the infrastructure layer such as: MDM, SCCM, PKI, Application Virtualization, Identity & Access Management and Mobile Cloud Computing
• Experience of enterprise environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments
• Capability to utilize common IT Architecture design principles and reference architectures and when missing be creative and invent new
• Ability to document solutions using common and relevant tools for technical design
• Ability to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources
• Good leadership and team player qualities
• Knowledge of project management models, service management (SM3) and ITIL
• Ability to structure, coordinate, prioritize and initiate relevant tasks and activities
We appreciate:
You have worked as IT architect within infrastructure layer for some years with proven results, some of those years with the focus on "mobility". It is a significant qualification if you have experience from providing solutions using cloud services or hybrid clouds as Mobile Cloud Computing is an area we expect to grow.
Cooperating in a team and performing tasks for a common good is a key factor on this position. Communication is vital and to achieve success it is important that you are able to work independently and be an initiator, we value if you have project management experience.
