ABOUT THE ROLE
In the position as Solution Architect / Engineer you will work in team consisting of system managers, analysts and engineers that have a financial or IT background.
In your role you are responsible for defining the solution design for our system environment based on our strategy, future vision and target architecture. You assure that business requirements and new ideas get designed and integrated effectful to have the right impact on our system environment and build the relevant relationships with peers in Finance, IT and as well as external suppliers.
You create transparent information and data models and assure that the integrations between the solutions are designed and implemented according to the needs. Two immediate areas to apply your know how is to establish the right framework for an effective BI model for the financial functions and the solution design for the new ERP that is planned to be introduced.
Responsibilities
Define the right target architecture to have a reliable, performing and data driven system landscape
Review business and functional requirement and its impact on the current environment
Create and document information flows and data models
Assure that the financial steering model is effectively integrated in all relevant structures
Create and coordinate the data structure in our data warehouses to have the right base for effective BI
Design and develop the integrations in our system landscape, for many integrations we are currently using Boomi. Target is to harmonize this area further
Assure the new ERP architecture and integrations match our strategy
Manage the architectural needs and limitations of the projects and ensures that they are in line with Target Architecture, enterprise architecture's strategy and principles
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
University degree in Engineering or Computer Science & other relevant training / education
Goal-oriented, structured & self-motivated person with high analytical skills
Experience with complex IT architecture and integration management
Proven track record as a solution architect
Proven track record as a developer
Experience in the telecom area, ERP solutions, accounting or supply chain is a plus
Good communication skills
Fluency in English both spoken and written
