hela Sverige Order to Delivery IT is the function responsible for providing IT services to Scania's production- and logistics operations. Our success requires extensive business knowledge, smart IT solutions and the use of digital technology with the purpose to enable a rapid transformation of Scania's Supply Chain processes.
We are now looking for two Solution Architects to join us in this area with focus on driving the transformation of business processes and IT landscape.
Job description
As Solution Architect you will work close to our business and be responsible for technology choices and solution proposals, ensuring that we apply innovative thinking and new technology to develop the best solutions for our business. You will be engaged in one or several projects to ensure that we deliver in accordance with architectural principles. You will work collaboratively with Enterprise Architects, business analysts, developers and business representatives.
Your main tasks will be:
Convert business and technical requirements into an architecture and design.
Formulate architectural designs consistent with strategy, relevant patterns and enterprise architecture principles.
Provide technical guidance for Business Analysts and Development teams throughout the course of projects.
Plan the technical requirements to transition a design into a working solution.
To lead the design phase of the project, participate in all remaining phases to verify that the design is installed, configured and documented correctly.
Where relevant, assist with assessment of vendor proposals.
Your profile
You have a relevant university degree complemented with experience either as a Solution Architect or as a Senior Developer, ready for the next step. Or perhaps you have several years of Industrial Business Development experience including process modelling, design and analysis. It will be considered and advantage if you have experience from working with IT for industrial operations and more specifically in the area of Supply Chain Management such as Order Management, Material Supply or Material Handling. Furthermore if you have experience from extensive ERP implementations it will be considered a distinct advantage.
To succeed in this role, you also need to have:
Strong design, analytical and technical capabilities.
Experience of understanding business requirements and working with key business stakeholders
The ability to constructively challenge ideas and design approaches.
Good understanding of multiple architectural design patterns, PSB, TOGAF, data integration techniques, SOA, Micro services, ISA-95 standard etc
Excellent architecture diagramming capabilities
Experience and be comfortable with an Agile development environment
Verbal and written communication skills,.
In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
