We are looking for a Software Test Engineer within the Life Sciences business. As a Software Test Engineer at GE Healthcare you will be a part of a highly skilled and talented global team. Please apply no later than September 25th.

Essential Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the quality, test plans and testing methodology for multiple software modules.
Analyze design requirements to develop and contribute to the implementation of Test Automation Architecture and framework.
Perform White, Grey, and Black Box testing.
Provide consolidated status reports for defects and test case execution progress with respect to plan.
Work closely with fellow team members to diagnose areas of quality weakness in the system and formulate improvement plan.
Lead and guide Developers on testing.

Qualifications/Requirements:
B.Sc. degree with relevant technical software focus, or comparable level of competence.
Minimum of 1 year experience in the software quality assurance area including tools: Test automation tools like QTP, SpecFlow; Test management tools like Quality Center.
English and Swedish (written and spoken).
EU work permit

Desired Characteristics:

Knowledge of C# and scripting
Experience with Agile development best practices
Excellent communication and analytic skills
Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to quickly embrace and understand new technologies
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products.
