The department Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) has the responsibility to lead the high voltage systems engineering for the subsystems Electric Drives, High Voltage Electrical Energy Storage and Onboard Chargers. The group System Design consist of 20 people and we are now looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.
As Software Quality Assurance Engineer within the group System Design at the section EPS System Integration you will be responsible to assess/measure the quality of work on products from our supplier and facilitate that potential Software quality problems are identified as early as possible in the development process. Are you an experienced Software Quality Engineer or a Development Engineer with good leadership skills and ready for a new challenge?
Main responsibilities
• Assure that the defined Software processes and methods are used and that their related work products such as requirement documents, plans etc. are developed with intended quality
• Proactively act and recommend activities that lead to an efficient quality work and actively scan and give feedback on activities and decisions that affect the projects ability to reach defined targets
• Support the Project Leaders to identify and manage the items and assignments that lead to that the project's quality targets, checkpoints and key activities are fulfilled
• Provide internal training in Software Engineering and Quality Assurance where needed
• Review processes, procedures, templates, and report deviations and lacks in the definition of processes, procedures, etc.
• Assist in maintenance and development of processes, procedures, templates, etc.
Required qualifications
• Minimum a degree at the level of M.Sc.
• At least five years' experience in relevant area
• Experience from working with suppliers
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Long experience from Software development is meritorious
• Quality Assurance experience is meritorious
• Knowledge of Software maturity models (ISO15504, Automotive SPICE, CMMi, etc) is meritorious
