Purpose of the job
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for embedded software design, implementation and verification of Onboard and OCS950 Controller products with highest reliability requirements according to CENELEC standards.
Key responsibilities:
• Design and documentation of software with high reliability requirements.
• Troubleshoot, stabilize and optimize Linux and BSD distributions in an embedded environment.
• Implementation of drivers for proprietary hardware (GPIO, I2C, SPI etc).
• Software test and verification.
Qualifications:
Degree in computer engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience and troubleshooting in Linux or BSD.
• Excellent knowledge in software implementation in C.
• Good knowledge in software architecture and design.
• Good knowledge in operating system driver development in an embedded system.
• Knowledge in requirements engineering and SW testing.
• Experience from similar areas is an advantage.
• Problem solving orientation, analytical thinking.
• Good communication skills, cultural awareness.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
