As you know, thermal management in an electric vehicle (EV) makes it possible to improve battery performance and longevity. You need to have a holistic view of thermal management; when drivers use the climate system to increase the heat in the winter or decrease the temperature in summer, the increased consumption of energy reduces the range of the vehicle significantly. As a thermal engineer, you know that the battery mainly needs to be handled, and electrical components such as inverters and motors also play a crucial part in the equation. This role does not focus on battery management. Instead, it looks at the overall thermal management of the EV.

Location:
The city of Trollhättan. It's located 75 km north of Sweden's second-largest city Gothenburg.
Relocation/moving to Sweden:
We welcome applicants both from Sweden and outside of Sweden. If you are applying from outside of Sweden or from another city in Sweden, we will help you with the relocation.
Your profile should include the following:
• You should have at least three years of experience in EV Thermal Management domain
• C++17
• Using Matlab and Simulink as part of the development process
• C/C++ development on an embedded Linux system in userspace
• Unit testing using GoogleTest
• Git
• Cmake/make
• M.Sc Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• You should have excellent communication skills
• You should have experience from working in agile teams
