hela Sverige We're looking for a developer to join our "Platform" team, a part of the business function that works with payment solutions for e-commerce. Here we provide a web-based payment solution for e-commerce businesses, impacting the work-life of thousands of merchants and indirectly serving millions of consumers who use Svea Checkout. About the role
In this role, you'll be part of a team that supports the e-commerce platform with core functionality within credit payment and its validation, which acts as a funnel to other development teams and departments. You'll work on the development and maintenance of several applications focusing on the backend development and some front-end work. The development team adopts some practices from Kanban methodology with a strong focus on performance and stability. Together with your teammates, you'll continuously improve and modernize our services, like refactoring the code base and breaking down more significant components into smaller and manageable services. Some of your daily work will be:
• Shaping the business requirements and converting them into technical solutions
• Creating new features and optimizing old ones with business aspect in mind
• Shipping the best possible code with the use of unit testing and test automation
• Develop APIs for internal applications and the external third-party providers
• Managing the overall structure as well as troubleshooting and fixing eventual problems
Your tools for this journey will be C#, .NET 6, MSSQL, NServiceBus, JavaScript, React, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, GIT, NUnit, and many more.
About you
You have worked with the entire product life cycle and managed to pick up decent technical skills as well as practical business sense along the way. What keeps you going is your genuine interest in software development and belief in its real purpose and how to make it accessible with user experience in mind and a test automation approach. You're eager to learn and improve your skills enjoy handling complex challenges and fixing them as well. On top of that, you're comfortable in your own skin, where you have no problems taking the initiative and sharing your thoughts and ideas with both tech and non-tech members. Lastly, you value team efforts over your own, always listen to the people around you, and challenge yourself and others to do better. Things you have obtained along your journey are:
Relevant education within computer science or similar, or equivalent work experience
A great track record of experience and knowledge in C#/.NET
Solid understanding and/or interest in database management
Accustomed to working with agile methodologies
Fluent in English, both speech and writing
Extra points, if you have knowledge in the Fintech or e-commerce industry and experience in one or more of the following areas: frontend development, business-critical application, software architecture, and its modern approach.... would be a jackpot!
