The Order to Delivery (O2D) department within Scania IT is responsible for developing and managing IT support systems within Scania's entire flow from customer order to logistics, production, delivery and invoicing, as well as industrial maintenance. We are building up a Team with a focus to create a Front End for Scania Production. The Team is highly skilled and committed, with considerable job satisfaction and excellent opportunities for personal development. Your responsibilities
You will lead the development team in designing a range of applications that aids Scania's processes in the production and logistic sections. Amazon AWS, infrastructure components and Frontend technologies need to be areas were you master and feel passionate about. The front end will be developed in Angular with TypeScript and deployment to be done in AWS. Security is something that always should be in mind and understanding of OAuth and JWT is a must.
Your responsibility as a software architect is to structure and design software, so that it meets customer requirements while also ensuring that the solution is manageable, reusable and quality assured. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions developed are cost-effective and follow Scania's strategy for creating solutions that can be reused with focus on elimination of waste.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree. AWS, Angular and APIs must be areas where you master and strive to improve the technology behind with no fear to test and explore new possibilities, as you need to be able to guide the team's in building solutions that are modern, reliable, error-proof and with good performance. You need to be proficient in written and spoken English and Swedish will be considered a bonus.
