We are now looking for an experienced software architect that can join our winning team at the department System and Test Software Development at Ericsson in Borås. The department develops production, logistic and test systems that are used within Ericsson Supply in Borås and around the world.

Job description
As a Software Architect you will be responsible for the architecture for new and existing applications and act as the interface towards our stakeholders. Your main task will be to secure that we deliver the right solution with good quality. Supporting and cooperating with other system architects within all three responsibility areas - embedded, test and system - will be important.
Examples of tasks are:
• Be the customer interface in all phases of a release/project, when additional functionality and/or behavioral changes of a system/application are needed
• Carry out pre-studies for new and/or updates of systems and applications
• Together with software developers, carry out the design work of systems and applications
• Secure the quality of the delivered systems and applications
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate that is self-driven, communicates well with software engineers as well as customers and other stake holders.
• You have 5+ years of experience architecting and developing
• You have experience of production critical systems
• You have a BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• You are fluent in Swedish and English
• You lead by example.
Knowledge of any of the following areas is considered a merit:
• Agile Development
• Object oriented analysis and design
• UML
• Enterprise Architect
• Visual Studio
• .NET
• C#
• SQL
• ClearCase
• Test methodologies
