hela Sverige The Ericsson development site in Lund is part of the 5G journey that will bring new technologies to the market. At the heart of the 5G base station is a digital ASIC or FPGA based on latest groundbreaking technologies and advanced functionality. We are now looking for System Architects who can be part of and take the lead in systemizing these ASICs and FPGAs. You will be part of a large development organization developing ASICs and FPGA for our radio products and work in close cooperation with colleagues in Lund and other Ericsson sites.
We are looking for people who can be either specialists or generalist within digital ASIC and FPGA system design and take a leading role. We expect previous experience in ASIC or FPGA development, preferably a senior role, but it is your competence and mindset that is most important.
As a System Architect, you are actively involved from the early pre-study phase through definition and development of the ASIC/FPGA project until the product has been released.
Typical competences we look for in this position are signal processing, silicon technologies, high speed interfaces, CPU subsystems, HW/SW interface, analog-mixed signal interaction.

Qualifications
Master Degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering or equivalent education is preferred.
Good knowledge of ASIC or FPGA technologies.
Good knowledge of digital design environment and design methodology.
Communication and presentation skills in English are essential.
Quality-consciousness.
Travels may be needed but not required on a frequent basis.

You are driven, result oriented and able to propose improvements to existing systems, methods, and work flows. You can also coach and mentor younger colleagues. You have the ability to lead teams as well as work independently or as a team member. Communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing is natural for you as well as a structural way of working.
