On behalf of our client we are now looking for a Site Manager to the factory in Alby who will report directly to the Operations Director for Bleaching Chemicals North America, Europe and Asia. 1898 the Alby site started its production and is today one of Europe's largest Chlorate factories and part of the Business Unit Pulp Performance Chemicals in Akzo Nobel. As site manager you will take on important leader role managing cultural change, developing the organization and the production performance. - Full responsibility for the plant including: production volume, cost, Health Safety and Environment (HSE), Product quality, capital investments, corporate directives and plant personnel. - Participate in the management team for North America & Europe Bleaching Chemicals Operations - Responsible to lead several change processes the organization in Alby is facing, such as strategy of integrated Supply Chain, Cultural change, improving safety performance, process optimization and cost reduction - Staff responsibility for 100 employees - Manage and develop the organization as well as creating an open and stimulating work environment
• Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Production or equivalent - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience - Experience from process industry or manufacturing - Change leader track record, preferably leading cultural change - Good knowledge from Lean production and Six Sigma is a great asset - High integrity and strong communication skills at all levels - Strong leadership qualifications and is driven by a will to develop teams - Outgoing, analytical and a problem solver at a high strategic level - Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish
