The ITES department is responsible for providing excellent and global key R&D application services to the platform development units. Within the area of SW Build & Release we provide the different development domains (Android, Modems & Windows Phone) with automated services for integration and delivery builds, including also triggering of SW quality checks, platform tests, and the like.
As Service Owner you will be accountable to globally in ST Ericsson secure the end-to-end operations, performance and life cycle management of a Build & Release service. This entails all aspects of service management ranging from requirement capture, development, to verification and operation. You will be responsible to jointly with internal customer agree on Service Level Objectives (SLO), but also to measure and ensure compliance to said objectives. You will lead a team of ITES personnel globally and/or manage relevant partners, but you will also be required to contribute with hands-on activities concerning service operation and development.
To succeed in this position you need to have a solid experience from SW engineering in general, and build automation in particular (e.g. continuous integration), but you must also have a true interest working closely with the customer, a business oriented mindset, and a demonstrated ability to drive activities in a global environment.
Competence:
M. Sc. or B.Sc. degree in relevant field
A minimum of 7 years work experience within the SW industry
Experience from working with customers
Excellent understanding about SW engineering
Experience from scripting language such as Perl
Service definition and life cycle management skills
Strong project driving skills
Excellent people and communication skills
Excellent skills in English, both verbal and in writing
