CBG is undergoing an expansionary phase with new international start-ups involving many new interesting projects. There is therefore a need to strengthen the IT department with Service Operation Technicians, who would like to work in a dynamic environment with many international links.
Apart from your colleagues in Gothenburg, you will work closely together with the IT departments located in Stockholm (Sweden), Barcelona (Spain) and Warsaw (Poland). Your work will be carried out in teams & projects under the supervision of the Service Operation Manager.
The Service operation technician receives and handles issues and reports from the internal organization, customers and suppliers and makes sure the issues and reports are handled.
Since the work includes a lot of contact with end users it is important that you are service minded and find it challenging and interesting to explain complicated as well as simple issues in a pedagogic way. Often you will be IT?s representation towards users both internally and externally.
A major part of your work will consist of documenting routines and solutions, for example how to handle error reports, FAQs, system user guides, training material etc.
You enjoy solving problems, finding creative solutions and helping users.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, debug and provide second line support in your area of expertise.
• Documentation and training of systems and issues you are responsible for.
• Take an active part in system and process testing during development.
• Assist departments within the corporation as well as customers and suppliers with technical support.
• To work, create and assign tasks within the ticket system.
Requirements
• A completed higher degree with a feel for system training.
• Very good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Work structured and methodically and be proactive and self-motivated.
• Challenged by logical and graphical problem solving.
• Service minded.
• Good IT knowledge.
Meritorious
• Knowledge regarding Content and Document Management Systems such as Drupal and Joomla.
• Relational databases and SQL, such as MSSQL and MySQL.
• Screencasting.
• Worked with ITIL processes.
• Familiar with ISO 27001.
