Senior Test & Verification Manager, Concrete Sawing & Drilling
Husqvarna Constructions offers an exciting job as Senior Test and Verification Manager.
You will be the manager for a Team of 19 people. You have direct personnel responsibility for 8 test engineers in the product areas Floor Saws, Tile and Masonry Saws, Wall and Wire Saws and Demolition robots.
You also have a direct reporting group manager who in turn is responsible for 9 test engineers for the handheld products: Drill Motors and Power Cutters.
Location is Jonsered outside Gothenburg.
Your area of responsibility is:
• Lead and manage our test and verification function consisting of the product areas: Floor Saws, Tile and Masonry Saws, Wall and Wire Saws, Demolitions Robots, Drill Motors and Power Cutters.
• Become part of Concrete Sawing and Drilling's R&D Leadership Team and influence the way we work for future needs
• Define, lead and implement the test and verification strategy
• Develop, coach and inspire the teams that work with test and verification
• Drive change through people and innovative technical solutions
• Work in collaboration with R&D, product managers and other stakeholders
• Be practical as well as strategic, the job also includes operational tasks
• Take ownership of all test deliveries and work proactively with processes, methods to successfully achieve our project goals
We are looking for you who have:
• Documented good leadership qualities
• Experience in preparing and lifting current operations towards new challenges
• 5+ years of experience in product development
• 3+ years of experience in leading and managing product development teams within R&D
• Experience from test and verification
• Genuine interest in test and verification, being "hands-on" as well
• Preferably experience from electrification and software
• Preferably experience of working in development processes in different cultures and countries
• Great knowledge (preferably documented) in product development processes
• Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management
• Used to take and give feedback on positive and constructive
As a leader
To succeed in the role, we believe that you are a problem solver who likes technical challenges. You are creative, have good communication skills and a great interest in testing and verification. You have an eye for problem-solving and take the initiative for potential improvements in the strategic work as well as in the daily operation. You do not necessarily have a background in construction products, but you have relevant experience in introducing new methods and technology in previous test organizations. A background in electronics and battery testing is an advantage. Furthermore, we believe that you are an experienced leader who is used to develop, coach and inspire leaders, team members, stakeholders and external contacts. You are not afraid to pursue what you believe in and can handle a conflict.
You report to
R&D Director Concrete Sawing & Drilling, Husqvarna Construction and is a member in the R&D Management team, Concrete Sawing & Drilling.
