We are now looking for a Senior System Engineer
Jobdescription:
Ensure that all stakeholder requirements are identified and
captured, through the gap analysis with respect to the Ansaldo STS products and Generic Applications and that all open points are identified and negotiated with the client to reach agreement on the user, operational and functional requirements sets.
Analyze the captured requirements to choose baselines to
develop feasible options for trade off analysis to select the most
robust and optimum solution to meet the client and other
stakeholder requirements.
Ensure that all requirements are defined in a way that makes
them suitable for test, check or inspection to demonstrate that they
have been met.
Apport all the requirements as defined in the chosen
solution, identifying all interfaces and creating work packages for
engineering and SPP.
Ensure that all change requests that propose a change to
requirements are thoroughly assessed for engineering impact and work with the Project Engineer to assess the change to programme, resources and budget.
Ensure the system designed reflect current client practice and
standards. Participate to site survey activities and preparation of detailed site survey reports in accordance and compliant to system engineering requirement.
Determine correct protection at system level in electric traction
ensuring that the signaling system and the traction system remain
electrically compliant to each other
Signalling Control Tables
Contribute to the preparation of detailed site survey reports
Contribute in producing designs which are compliant to safe
electrical engineering practices.
Support use of correct design in Electrical traction areas.
Support junior professionals in day by day activity execution
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of:
System architecture design
System requirement specifications
Engineering management including: tendering, planning & monitoring, report writing and site surveys
CAD
Verification of scheme plans & control tables and analysis of field survey data
Control system operational rules
