We are the world's largest manufacturer of sodium chlorate and one of the largest producers of hydrogen peroxide. We supply essential chemicals to the global pulp industry and other selected industries from 24 locations worldwide. Our head office is located in Marietta, Georgia, USA and we employ 950 people.
We now have an opening for a Senior Specialist within Hydrogen Peroxide Technology.
Main responsibilities
• Ensure the specialist competence and follow the development within the hydrogen peroxide technology area.
• Make long-term project proposals to develop the hydrogen peroxide process so that the most cost efficient and competitive technology is used.
• Participate and/or lead projects within the Bleaching Chemicals Technology organization.
• Be a resource for all hydrogen peroxide plants regarding process development and optimization.
• Contact person for hydrogen peroxide plants and actively follow up and support the business.
• Identify and solve complicated chemical and technical related problems.
• Develop and implement new methods and working tools in the business.
• Establish and develop necessary contacts regarding the technology within Pulp & Performance Chemicals.
• Ensure that knowledge within the hydrogen peroxide technology area is transferred within the organization.
Job requirements / Candidate profile
• MSc in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience in research, process development and production within chemical industry.
• Profound knowledge and several years of experience within the hydrogen peroxide technology area.
• Experience of leading projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge in English.
• Ability to travel.
