The Embedded Software department is responsible for software design and implementation in the embedded systems of our products. We are also globally responsible for the tools and processes used for development and handling of embedded software.

Core Responsibilities
As Senior Software Process Engineer you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our embedded software development process.

Your area of responsibility includes:
Development and maintenance of tools and systems used for software development
Planning and coordination of process and tools training for Volvo CE personnel
Monitoring process performance within the organization

Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in embedded software development
Experience in software process development
Project management skills
Strong drive and interest for improvement and/or quality work
Holistic view with a business and customer focus
Good leadership qualities and team-building skills
Experience with cultural diversity
Good spoken and written English
Travel availability, both domestic and abroad

Possessing the following skills are an advantage:
Additional languages
Experience from automotive engineering
Development and maintenance of process descriptions, instructions, and guidelines.
