hela Sverige Are you ready to take on a pivotal engineering role at the intersection of data, technology, and customer experience? One of our clients in the retail industry is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the continuous development and governance of their Customer Data Platform (CDP).
This is a full-time assignment based in Stockholm with 50% remote flexibility. The assignment is running from April 21st to September 30th, 2025, with a possible extension.
About the roleIn this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across data engineering, marketing, and product to ensure a robust, compliant, and high-performing CDP environment. You'll serve as both a hands-on problem solver and a key stakeholder in driving operational efficiency, data governance, and quality assurance across the platform.
Responsibilities Conduct ongoing in-platform audits to ensure data integrity and consistent performance
Proactively test audience configurations to preempt operational issues
Troubleshoot and resolve platform incidents in close collaboration with internal teams
Manage CDP configurations, approval workflows, and access governance to align with compliance standards
Act as first-line technical support for central and regional teams
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with engineering and data teams to improve pipeline performance and CDP functionality
Continuously evaluate and refine CDP-related processes to enhance audience segmentation and data governance
About you
You're a senior-level software engineer with a strong grasp of data-driven platforms and a sharp eye for operational detail. Your ability to connect the technical and the tactical makes you a key enabler for both engineering and business teams. You thrive in environments where governance, performance, and innovation intersect, and you're passionate about enabling business success through reliable and well-documented technical processes.
Experience and skills Proven experience with SaaS-based platforms, particularly CDPs and marketing automation tools
Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in GCP BigQuery environments
Experience with CDP solutions such as Hightouch, mParticle, Segment, or ActionIQ
Understanding of how CDPs support business objectives and integrate with core business processes
Solid knowledge of GDPR compliance and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles
Experience managing platform governance and configuration workflows
Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
Fluent in English

For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta.
