Ideal Candidate Experience and Requirements
• SW-based products and services design & goto market
• Start-up or entrepreneurial background
• Ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Experience from exploring ideas and solutions based on new technology and customer behavior
• Experience from fast prototyping and experimenting
• Automation industry experience is meritorious
• High drive and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem solving skills and "hurdler" personality
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as a team player
• English, spoken and written
Coesia, through its company FlexLink, is leading innovation in Industry 4.0 solutions. To provide our customers with unique customized technology we are setting up Coesia Software Innovation center. The center will work on the most advanced technology and developments related to our automation solutions.
The job will involve both working on the latest Industry 4.0 solutions and working exploratory in finding new solutions, prototyping and validating new ideas for the Coesia group companies.
This is an opportunity to operate in a real startup, having all the technological and financial strength of a multinational group, working with both incremental development and attempting radical innovation. The team is setup to have cutting edge skills within cloud solutions, AI & Machine learning, Automation as well as core software engineering skills to become a software center of excellence for the Coesia group.
Coesia is a group of 16 companies each providing leading equipment for factories and production for consumer goods.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer who will drive innovation projects for CSI. This involves exploring ideas, possibilities and solutions based on new technology and customer behaviors and pains. You will spend a lot of time prototyping and experimenting, serving as an internal proof-of-concept factory for the Coesia group. You will participate in communicating with the Coesia Companies to collaborate and share knowledge. In your role you will have the perspective from customer pain to product, so the ability to understand how to commercialize and operationalize the products are important factors.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial programmer, not an administrative project manager.
