We are now looking for a Senior SAP Software Engineer with possibility for People manager/ Competence lead responsibility in Finance Product Area within our Business Tech organization. H&M being a global multinational fashion retailer present in over 70+ countries, we have a very advance sales and logistic solutions to meet the needs of our customers around the world. Finance product area within Business tech is responsible for all financial solution global as well as local and help ensure that we as a group fulfils our accounting and financial controlling needs.
About the role
As a senior Software engineer in Stock accounting team, you will be part of a team which is responsible for developing and maintaining stock accounting solutions. As a senior member in the stock accounting team, you work end-to-end, from understanding business requirement all the way to final solution delivery. Which includes initiate, design, create functional requirements, do configurations and test of the SAP solution. You can work with both global roll out of the template solution or customized solution which are needed for either unique business scenario or for local country needs. This over time gives you lots of opportunities to learn and develop and take part in different initiatives. We strive for compliance, quality, and efficiency in all our financial, accounting and controlling processes and solutions. Being an agile organization, we take complete ownership, and the team is responsible for development and maintenance of their solutions.
About the team
You will be part of a cross functional team working with the Stock Accounting product. We are a team of 20 members including both business experts and software engineers. Together we strive for world class financial supply chain and inventory management solutions to ensure global compliance and accurate stock valuation for stakeholders and customers.
Responsibilities
You will enable business development by your system- and business knowledge, where you propose and design high level changes for future solutions and participate and guide in questions regarding design of roll-out or other projects to secure the global template. Furthermore, you will:
Analyze business requirements and come up with solutions
Configure and/or write functional specifications to develop new functionality
Test, support and maintain your product within Stock Accounting
Your mindset and skills
We believe you have a solid experience in SAP Accounting and Controlling area regarding design, concepts, principles and configurations. You are able to explain deep subject matter situations relating to finance, accounting and SAP to members in the team but also other stakeholders within H&M Group. You have the ability to work independently as well as in a team and you understand the importance of sharing knowledge as well as being communicative. Furthermore, we believe that you have:
Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools:
At least 9 years of functional experience within SAP Accounting and logistics working with solution design, configuration, testing and support.
Expertise within SAP; FICO and SD or FICO and MM, or all three
A genuine interest in accounting process flows
Fluent in English, oral and written
Additional beneficial competences:
Any knowledge in the areas of ABAP, integrations and/or Fiori is beneficial
Experience within Agile ways of working is of great use
Good MS office skills, as design improvements need to be documented and presented
Personal characteristics:
You are strategic, analytical and fast in understanding and execution
Ability to understand and analyze complex information and share it in effective and powerful communications
Ability to take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments

As a SE/competence lead, you spend your time both in the team as a subject matter expert but also lead your team, where colleagues primarily work in other product teams within finance.

Work with performance management and salary review for your employees
In your daily work coach and keep an ongoing dialogue with members in your competence team
Remain compliant with laws and policies, and act when necessary, regarding e.g., under performance, work environment, etc
Experience
Previous experience of leading people and teams
Have been mentor and/or formal leader
Acted as a leader and have experience from servant leadership within an agile framework
