Together with a dedicated team of very experienced baseband, audio, radio and power management engineers you will take part in the development of the next generation of the Verisure alarm system and all accompanying peripherals in an international environment.
You will take the lead in the design of the complete RF solution in products or conceptual projects. Your tasks could start in the early conceptual phase with protocol analysis, simulation and architectural design of the wireless interfaces.
You would realize your design and together with procurement, make the right components choices before verification and certification, all lead by you.
You could also be expected to take part in the review of external designs, perform technical studies and participate in standardization work.
Your projects could house ISM radios operating in the sub-GHz band, cellular modems, dual-band WIFI, and DECT connectivity, all expected to work seamlessly together.
Your workplace will be in our brand-new office 5 minutes' walk from Malmö central station.
We have made huge investments in our RF lab and continuously investing we needed. You will also work in close cooperation with external experts.
Expected skills
* University degree within electrical or radio engineering, preferably M.Sc.
RF Design, applicable for all relevant RF bands and technologies

+ Pre-certification according to applicable EN / FCC standards
+ Impedance measurements

* RF Design in products and conceptual projects
+ Act as a design leader and represent RF into PMO
+ Write project reports
+ Write verification plans
+ Advise on project time plan
+ Perform technical studies
And thereto relevant tasks
* Line / technology
+ Drive standardization work into ETSI (WGFM/TG28 and others)
+ Drive standardization work into SEK/CENELEC (TK79 and others)
+ Coach thesis workers
+ Act as support for QA team in standards and RF matters
+ Support the Madrid office
+ Support suppliers
+ Support electronics engineers and SW engineers
+ Interface with universities
+ Drive RF technology (anti-jamming, next-generation protocols, etc.)
+ Write patent applications
+ Maintain and grow RF lab
+ Support tech coaches in operations (for instance Andreas Persson needs help with systems being jammed every now and then)
+ Visit relevant trade shows and conferences to stay up to date with RF development
+ Drive integration of LP-WAN (Sigfox / LoRa etc.)
+ Drive LP-WAN strategy (Sigfox / LoRa / Verisure Long Range etc.)
+ Act as an ambassador for the product group

Wanted skills:
• Experience from ISM band communication and standards
• Experience from 2G / 3G / 4G
• Experience from CAD and schematics design (Altium designer)
• Experience from antenna simulations (FEKO)
