We have set up a new regional rewards organization for our Nordic countries and are currently looking for a Senior Reward Specialist to fulfil this key role in our Local Center of Expertise Rewards Team.
What you will do?
The Nordic Rewards role is part of AkzoNobel' s North West Europe organization with the key objective to implement and deliver the global rewards programs and policies within the Nordics region. Rewards is a vital function to help our company attract, engage and retain the right people with the right behaviors to drive growth and long-term value creation. As Senior Reward Specialist Nordics, you will be supporting all of our businesses in the Nordics, but where majority of the work is the headed in Sweden. Your main responsibilities are:
• Lead the roll out, communication and local implementation of the global Annual Compensation Process (salary review, short- and long-term incentives) and ensuring all business meet the global guidelines and timelines.
• Drive harmonization of employment terms and conditions in the region.
• Manage job evaluation for the region in line with the global job evaluation process.
• Manage employee benefit programs (pension, medical and risk benefits) for the region and supplier management.
• Deploy rewards capability building to regional stakeholders, such as HR, managers and People Services.
• Consult and advise on collective bargaining process with unions and works council.
• Provide statistics and analyze the local market salary structure and keep up to date to ensure competitive remuneration levels for AkzoNobel in the Nordics.

This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible and you will be placed on our site just outside Malmö. You will report to the North West Europe Reward Manager, places in the Netherlands.
Who you are?
To be successful as Senior Reward Specialist Nordics you like to be partnering up and take lead within a wide business spectrum. As a person you have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and you are able to drive results and achieve goals through influence. Good negotiation skills are required and well as a strong sense of urgency, attention to details and exceptional teaming and collaboration skills.
We are looking for you with the following background:
• Degree in Human Resources, Legal or other related areas.
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a multinational business environment.
• Knowledge and experience in job evaluation, preferably using Hay and the Mercer methodology.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and experience with works councils, union relations and negotiations.
• Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other relevant HR IT systems.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English both written and verbally.
