We are looking for a Senior Research Engineer to the Single Use Applications section within the Consumables Upstream & ReadyToProcess department.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Applications section is responsible for develop, verify and validate new innovative/next generation of single use bioprocess equipment (such as chromatography, filtration and buffer/media management operations) and to support development and manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals. For this position, we need someone that can take technical responsibility/Lead System Designer in projects during development of single use systems and consumables. Depending on the on-going projects the task/area might vary overtime.
• Take technical responsibility for a product within a project
• Develop methods and methodology for verification and applications
• Plan, perform and report functional verification and validation of products
• Report and present results orally and/or in writing
• To independently plan and accomplish given tasks from Project Manager or Section Manager, to reach given project objectives
Qualifications/Requirements:
• MSc or similar competence in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related area. Significant years work experience
• Relevant professional experience from similar roles
• Technically skilled and experience from HW verification
• Skills in chromatography and/or filtration system operations
• Swedish and English as a working language
Desired Characteristics:

• Demonstrated aptitude for hands-on troubleshooting
• Experience from pilot scale/production scale operations
• Experience from DoE and/ or statistical evaluation
