About the Role
As part of our product development team, you will be improving our apps for our three main user groups: educators, schools and Humly support staff.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our talented and dynamic product development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our platform. You will take on a leading role in testing, you will work closely with software developers, designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and report issues, and help drive the overall quality of our software solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications.

Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for both manual and automated testing.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure reliability and scalability of our software components.

Identify, report, and track defects and work closely with the developers to facilitate their resolution.

Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

Foster a culture of quality and excellence in the product development team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in an agile software development environment.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

Proficient in TypeScript or Python.

Experience with performance and load testing is a plus.

Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Jaeger and Grafana is also a plus.
