hela Sverige - Define, prepare, lead, execute and advise on investment projects
• Initiate projects and programs, including: identification and analyses of stakeholders and business needs, resulting in a clearly defined project scope, activities and objectives
• Formulation of a project plan, determine budget and required resources and acquire approval
- Leading the decision making process, managing uncertainties and expectations of a varied group of stakeholders
-Supporting business development, customers and sales by providing cost calculations, project plans and all other figures related to CAPEX projects
- Managing relations with a large variety of stakeholders on strategic level
• Manage complex and hazardous chemical projects with high potential impact on both performance and image of AkzoNobel. Characteristics of projects: - Highly innovative and/or concerning new products/processes with critical impact on business results
-Multidisciplinary cross-BU/cross-regional
-High risk and critical impact on business strategy involving multiple parties
a project organization with up to 50 employees
• Ensure that project objectives are met, including: covering all project aspects such as HSE&S, sustainability, timing, budget, quality, risks, AkzoNobel guidelines and authority approvals
- Ensure an engaged project team
- Realize continuous improvement of project management activities, including evaluation of the projects after identifying and analysing lessons learned
As a Team Leader you are also expected to:
- Lead, coach and develop employees, ensure staffing and stimulate talent
- Balance, plan and allocate resources on short term in order to manage demand and supply and to drive performance
- Drive integration of work processes, methods and tools within the project management teams across regional offices to fulfil the corporate strategy
• MSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 15 years of experience in chemical plant projects including managerial position in international environment
- Good understanding of industrial production process principles, broad and/or specialized knowledge of one functional discipline
- Extensive project management capabilities and good knowledge of project management systems including risk management
- Experience with relevant Microsoft Office softwares
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to switch between conceptual an detailed level rapidly
- Strong ability to cooperate and communicate with managers, peers, company employees and customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills on influencing, negotiation and acquisition
- Entrepreneurship, result oriented and problem solving
- Showing ownership, focusing on added value, transparent and acting with quality, focus and speed
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel globally
