Measurement & Analytics offers reliable equipment for measuring and control. Our products are used in several different industries and processes and are designed to improve productivity, control and quality. The products are for example used to measure mechanical and geometrical variables.

As Senior Product Engineer, you will be part of ABB's Measurement & Analytics unit. We are experiencing robust growth, strong profitability, and are anticipating continued expansion. With a staff of some 170 colleagues, we work with advanced industrial measuring technologies on the global market.
As Senior Product Engineer, you will be part of Product Engineering, a department managing maintenance and improvement of Force Measurements' products. You will have the overall technical product responsibility for the software of Stressometer - a system used for flatness measurement and control in rolling mills. You will:
• Manage product changes based on customer needs in close collaboration with sales, operations and R&D
• Structure and drive product improvement and product quality
• Define goals, prioritize measures and lead your colleagues in their work
• Support customers, sales and operations within your area of expertise
• Take part in development projects together with our R&D department
• Develop our work processes
In other words, you will operate at the center of events and be provided with a large network and great influence.
Your personal qualities are vital for success. As Senior Product Engineer, you need to be structured as well as used to lead your coworkers toward set goals. It is also important that you have a strong drive, great communication as well as collaboration skills and the ability to take initiative and manage change.
As a foundation, you hold a Master of Engineering or equivalent, along with at least ten years' experience in a leading technical role. Experience from software development and product quality or product maintenance is required. Knowledge of measurement systems as well as project management and product lifecycle management is qualifying, as is familiarity with the rolling mill industry. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.
