Our Design Center in Gothenburg is the global headquarters for Geely Design and focuses on delivering great design for the two brands: Zeekr and Lynk & Co.
We are a fast-growing team of both creative and management professionals with the task of delivering exciting global products suitable for volume production and innovative concepts. Design Quality is becoming increasingly important in the Automotive Design process. We are now looking for a Senior Product Design Quality Specialist to strengthen our growing team. Do you want to join our fantastic Design Quality team of currently 7 members that takes the design of all our products to an excellent execution level? This role will give you an opportunity to influence the products appearance together with a rapidly growing department with many projects ongoing.

This is what you will do most of the time:
Continuously improve the quality level of the design of all our products by acting proactively, challenging, collaboratively and following up during the whole design phase.
Scrutinize the shape design and pay attention to details. Judging the surface quality, harmony in executions, judging conceptual pros and cons and propose alternatives to achieve desired result.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with many different teams, i.e., Designers, Studio Engineers, Digital Modelers and Project Leaders.
You and your skills:
A great interest in design, having the sense of shape, surface appearance and how shapes and features harmonise with its surrounding.
Experience in assessing the Design Quality through physical models and Digital models in Alias/ ICEM/ Catia, VRED.
A solid understanding of customer needs and overall vehicle target setting.
Knowledge of component manufacturing, tooling requirements and lead times.
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
