Spiideo is the leading provider of automated broadcasting cloud-based solutions for video analysis and streaming of sports. With an entirely new way of recording, sharing, and analyzing sports performance and producing sports for streaming, Spiideo has a unique position in the market. Our solution strikes the perfect balance between performance, simplicity, and accessibility. Today, Spiideo is used by hundreds of organizations globally, including some of the world's largest and most well-known professional and collegiate teams. Our customers can typically be found in team sports like soccer, basketball, ice hockey, field hockey, handball, lacrosse, etc.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are now looking to expand the Spiideo team further with the addition of a Senior Product Architect based in Sweden.
You will be working within the product management team, and with our two products Spiideo Perform (
https://www.spiideo.com/spiideo-perform/) and Spiideo Play (
https://www.spiideo.com/spiideo-play/). There you will act as an expert who uses your deep technical background to close the gap between the technical and business side of product development. You will be the technical advisor to product owners and development team, but also other stakeholders (e.g. marketing, sales, customer support, etc.). Your primary task is to be on top of how things get implemented and what technology is required to meet different business requirements.
As a Senior Product Architect at Spiideo, you will:
• Work very closely with product management, technical leads, development and test organization to make sure our technology design and implementation meets the product needs from customers and users.
• Help develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product.
• Define and secure a future proof technical product roadmap that is aligned with overall product and business strategy
• Drive technical product discussions with partners and strategic customers in our different segments
• Be on top of emerging technology trends, and how they affect roadmaps and technology decisions
What we are looking for:
• Product and customer focused mindset, with very deep technical understanding and experience in areas such as application development, microservice architectures, data and video streaming architectures.
• Track record from similar roles in Enterprise B2B SaaS
• Strong skills in planning and execution of initiatives together with experienced and talented engineers.
• Great communication skills, including both written communication and presentation skills
• Curious and self-motivated with a positive, team first attitude
• Adaptive to working in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment

Location:
This role is based in Malmö, where we have a healthy mix of being at our office in the city center at Lilla Torg in Malmö and remote. You will report to VP of Product who is based in Malmö, Sweden.
