Uniper has a strong interest in establishing and developing strong relationships and dialogues with the different stakeholders within the Swedish national political system. Our function Governmental Affairs is responsible for all key relationships and participation in and development of relevant forums relating to the Government and Parliament. Uniper's Government Affairs function also maintains close cooperation with experts within Uniper's Swedish business areas.
The function is working with medium to long term focus, to ensure that Uniper leaders have access to, and can position and argue our view of relevant topics for Uniper. This includes work towards political parties, governmental departments and could include certain organizations in the Swedish business sector. A well developed and accessible network within the areas above is expected from day 1 from the person taking up the role.
Main responsibilities:
• Establish where necessary, and develop existing professional relationships in relevant areas of the Swedish Government and Parliament
• Describe and advocate Uniper's positions in relevant forums
• Engage and introduce Uniper's Swedish Country Chairman in relevant political networks
• Work with strategic advisors in the political field to ensure best outcome and risk management
The role is based in Stockholm, at our office at Tändstickspalatset, Trädgårdsgatan 15. Domestic travel both to our various production sites and the head quarter in Malmö is expected on a regular basis.
Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure; therefore we will carry out both a security check and a drug test before employment.

We expect you to be very familiar with the relevant main stakeholders for the energy sector. You are comfortable with participating in a range of external events and activities, where Uniper's relevant stakeholders engage as well.
You enjoy the opportunity to present and drive Uniper's main topics from time to time as well as open to experimenting and finding new ways of taking our stakes further. The role has a large element of independency, meaning that self-drive and motivation is essential.
