The department Order to Delivery (O2D) IT is responsible to support Production & Logistics at Scania with IT. We are now setting the future IT landscape for production and logistics to support a global production system and the cooperation within the Traton group.
As Senior Manager for Powertrain & Industrial Control you will work very close to the Powertrain production units, Scania Industrial maintenance and Industrial Control. You are responsible for operations with Industrial Workshop Support that 24/7 support the production units and to strategically develop the IT portfolio. The IT portfolio includes ERP, MES, Automation and other local production systems as well as .NET development. ERP, MES and Automation are developed, maintained and operated by other sections, so close cooperation within Scania IT and O2D IT is necessary.
You have 3 group managers reporting to you and the section consist of around 40 employees and consultants situated in Södertälje and Luleå. The section have 4 groups; 3 supporting the Powertrain production units and one .NET development group supporting Industrial Control and front-end.
You will report to the manager for O2D IT and be part of the O2D IT management team. As part of O2D IT management team we expect you to bring the Powertrain and Industrial IT perspectives and contribute with your knowledge and creativity to help us drive IT for P&L forward.
Your profile
Our successful candidate will be a strong servant leader enabling the team to succeed with their deliveries. You like to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels in the company and you have a natural ability to cooperate. You are good at forming and driving strategies and have an ability to explain technology so both business and IT personnel understand. You are also curious to learn about production & logistics.
To succeed in this role, it is a must that you have a high degree of IT knowledge, know how to build agile high performance teams, have experience of buying IT and have basic financial knowledge. You also have an academic education within IT or engineering. It is an advantage but not necessary to have experience from IT within production.
