The Team
In this role, you will be a part of Nasdaq's Global Total Rewards team, comprising 3 regions around the globe and report to the Global Head of Benefits (NY). You will be based in Stockholm heading our EMEA Benefits function in this region, managing a team of one located in Lithuania.
Your Day Will Include
As Benefits Manager EMEA, you will be responsible for the managing, planning, design, implementation, administration and evaluation of a variety of employee benefit programs such as health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave of absence programs. This will include, but not be limited to vendor management, the upholding and improvements of processes, management of regional projects, and the ongoing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis.
Program & Vendor Management
* Proactively lead and manage the day to day administration of employee benefit programs
* Evaluate and compare employee benefit programs against the competitive landscape, evolving legislation, and internal business needs.
* Collaborate on program recommendations and lead the research, development and implementation of new programs as directed.
* Coordinate, validate and process contract changes with vendors.
Process improvement
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local employee benefits regulations; prepare government and participant reporting.
* Develop and monitor administrative procedures that result in the accurate enrollment, payment, and processing of employee benefit transactions; develop and monitor internal data audits; work collaboratively with finance and systems management in areas of financial record keeping.
* Research and analyze trends, impacts, decisions, participation rates, and feedback. Make recommendations for changes based on data.
?Project Management
* Develop departmental/functional plans, including business unit and/or production priorities, to address resource and operational needs and challenges.
* Participate in both internal and external projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy.
* Coordinates required disclosures and general benefits employee communications with communications team.
The Best-Suited Candidate
* Supervisory/management/mentoring experience required.
* Experience managing, and administering a variety of employee programs.
* Strong familiarity with regulations impacting the design, operation, and administration of employee benefit programs.
* Ability to communicate complex and sensitive ideas and information, verbally and in writing, to individuals at all levels internally and externally.
* Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Management or relevant work experience.
* Workday experience a must.
As a person, you have the ability to manage others effectively while focusing on the work at hand. You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with exceptional written and verbal communication. Also, you are structured, have an eye for detail particularly with mathematical information and have strong client-facing and presentation abilities.
