hela Sverige Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for the legal entity in Sweden to further strengthen Hitachi Energy's global legal team by providing legal advice to business units and corporate functions in Sweden.
As Senior Legal Counsel, you will bring your legal know-how to diverse tasks, and ensure all contractual activities are executed in accordance with the relevant regulations and instructions as well as local statutory provisions. Reporting to the Country Head of Legal, the successful candidate will advise business units on wide range of legal and integrity topics.
The preferred working location for this role is Västerås, Sweden, with the possibility to work in hybrid model. The role may require some domestic and overseas travelling occasionally.
Your Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice over a broad range of issues affecting different business units and corporate functions, especially for contracts and tenders.
Proactively develop effective legal strategies, mitigation actions and practical solutions in support of business activities.
Negotiate acceptable contract terms with customers, liaising with all internal stakeholders in the process, including risk review processes.
Promote dispute avoidance and manage disputes and litigations with all internal and external stakeholders.
Support strong implementation of the Code of Ethic and Business Conduct and assists with resolution of integrity-related issues and other actions and act as a local contact point for integrity matters in close co-operation with the global Integrity Team.
Deliver trainings on contractual, legal and integrity aspects as well as being an active member of the global Legal and Integrity community and support the global team when needed.
Your Background
University Law Degree.
Strong working experience relevant to commercial transactions.
Committed, business-minded and solution oriented.
Well-developed communication, self-confidence, strong decision-making capability, and interpersonal skills including team spirit as well as the ability to influence at all levels.
