The research is carried out in close collaboration with the health care services, for example at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION: In physiology with nutritional orientation, functions of the body and organ systems of the human body are studied and how these are influenced by diet and physical activity. Interest and understanding of the importance of the diet for health and disease have increased significantly in recent years, thus increasing the requirements for guidance on health-promoting eating habits on scientific grounds. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: Teaching and research in the subjects physiology of nutrition, nutrition, food science and biochemistry. Development work, supervision and examination on the basic and advanced educational level and within research. Participate in pedagogical development work and evaluation of all parts of the dietitian education. Lead the development of the unit's laboratory. Initiate and independently run research and development projects within the nutrition field.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY:PhD degree in medicine, physiology, nutrition or other equivalent life sciences. Documented educational skills. ASSESSMENT:Pedagogical and scientific skills and experience will be evaluated equally. Experience in research in nutritional physiology and laboratory activities is an important merit. Documented knowledge in food, health and nutrition is meritorious. Documented independent research with own research funding. Particular emphasis is placed on the applicant's collaborative ability and inclusive working methods. Administrative properties. As teaching is conducted in Swedish, good knowledge of Swedish language and ability to express themselves in Swedish is needed.
The employment is a full time, temporary post for up to 2 years
