Students at our school become for example industrial engineer, business administrator or political scientist. The division of economy and political science includes the subjects: Political science, Economics, and Accounting & management control.
Currently, we are implementing a strategic investment to develop the research and education in the subject Accounting & management control. We are looking for someone who wants to assume a leading role in developing a strong research environment while developing a synergistically connected environment between schools and subjects within the university college.
We believe that the ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of the subject matter, is up to date on the current research in the field and has a wealth of unrealized ideas and research ambitions. To enable you to take on this role, we offer 50-70% research time over 3-4 years.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to focus, plan and lead the research subject Accounting & management control. You are expected to share ideas, experiences, knowledge and network in a purposeful, inspiring and creative way. An important task will be to participate in the work of building an innovative and pleasant research environment.
Within the framework of your employment, you are expected to lead the group's work of writing applications to obtain long-term research grants, collaborate with local research and education environments while producing highly relevant research.
The position also include customary academic work related to teaching at basic and advanced levels. You will ideally strengthen the link between research and teaching. The incumbent will also hold relevant administrative responsibilities. Both the teaching and the nature of the assignments will be planned to meet both the applicant's interests and the needs of the organization.
Essential Qualifications
The qualification requirements for a senior lecturer is a PhD degree and well documented scientific and teaching abilities.
Scientific proficiency will be assessed with regards to Swedish and English publications in both article and book form. In other words, the requirements for merit are assessed, taking into account the nature of the subject and the potential for international publication.
To be eligible for employment as university lecturer, the applicant must have demonstrated the scientific skill and teaching ability required for the position. In addition, scientific competence may have been demonstrated through the ability to achieve results in research through collaboration in joint projects that benefit academia and business/public activity/society and through the ability to inform about research.
Assessment of pedagogical competence shall cover the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching as well as supervision and examination. The pedagogical skill must be well documented and in such a way that the quality can also be assessed.

Main criteria
As a general basis for assessment, it is necessary to have both the ability to cooperate as well as the ability and suitability in completing duties required for the position.
Equal attention will be given to the assessment of teaching skills and the assessment of scientific or artistic skills.
We will also consider the following when assessing applicants:
• The relevance of the research in regard to Accounting & management control and the scope, breadth, and depth of the research
• Searched and awarded research grants
• Degree of activity and establishment as an independent researcher
• Experience in planning and managing research projects with others
• Basic and advanced level guidance
• Ability to inform about research in various forums
• Experience of collaboration with the surrounding community in research and education
• Ability to plan, develop, examine, and monitor one's own teaching at the basic and advanced levels
• Administrative ability
• Other experience that is of importance with regard to the subject content and duties of the employment
