Here we have the research specialisations of Industrial Engineering and Management, and Future Energy. Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with companies, organisations and public authorities in the region.

The area of Business administration is currently strengthening its position in both education and research. We are therefore looking for a a senior lecturer for further advancing the research activities and for reinforcing the way in which research informs the educational programs. As senior lecturer you will be part of the New Management-practices group (NMP), which is a group of researchers focusing on new forms, processes, action nets and ideas through which management is performed in, and around, organizations today. The group has a strong research competence in areas such as leadership, temporary organizing/projects, inter-organisational collaboration, and the effects of digitalization on organisations.
Position description
As senior lecturer you will mainly be involved in teaching but we also expect you to create opportunities for further advancing reserach in the field of Organisation studies in collaboration with your colleagues. The teaching will include teaching at various levels to Business Administration students, and students at the Industrial Engineering and Management program. The teaching will also involve issues related to digitalization and/or sustainability. The position involves the supervision of students at bachelors' and masters' levels, course responsibility, and the development of new courses.
Also, the position involves contributing to connecting research to education, the development of the NMP-group, contributing to the acquisition of external research funding, strengthening the department's position through contributions to research leading to publication in international, peer-reviewed academic journals and in leading debate at national and international levels.
Finally, the position also involves participation in the development of the department and/or the School of Business, Society and Engineering, taking an active responsibility to further develop a creative environment and to advance both research and the pedagogical development of Business Administration.

Assessment criteria
The assessment criteria shall be based on the degree of skills required for the appointment. In general terms these assessment criteria shall include the ability to cooperate as well as the ability and suitability otherwise required to fulfil the duties well.
The same attention shall be paid to the assessment of teaching skills as to the assessment of academic skills.
The applicant shall have shown academic skills in the area of organisation studies, for example through
• documented ability to disseminate research in scientific journals, other scientific literature and to a broader public;
• documented ability to achieve results in the research area through cooperation in joint projects of benefit to academia and industry/the public sector/society in general.
The applicant shall have shown teaching abilities in the area of organisation, for example through:
• the development of new courses and/or the planning, carrying out and evaluation of teaching as well as supervision and examination
• pedagogical developmental work within the area of the position
• integrating teaching with reserach
The applicant shall have defended his/her doctoral thesis less than five years ago.
Command of the Swedish and the English language is a requirement for the position.

Merit
The following skills are considered merits:
• The applicant has shown professional service to the Department, School, and/or University, for example through administrative experience and course and program responsibility.
• Research and teaching/pedagogical activities within the areas of digitalization, sustainability and/or co-production/collaboration,
• Documented experience in practice based studies, ANT or other processual approaches.
• Experience in developing and teaching courses in Industrial Engineering and Management.
• Experience in teaching and conducting research that includes an international perspective, given that the Department of Business and Social Studies has two EPAS accredited programs.
