hela Sverige We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance department at the Cochlear BAS headquarters located in Mölnlycke, Sweden. Reporting to the Manager of Reporting and Compliance, this role works with the CBAS organisation and the rest of the finance team, and the global finance teams located in Sydney and in the different sales regions. You will be working with monthly period closing and reporting. You are responsible for VAT and tax reporting, fixed assets accounting, bank reconciliation and other financial tasks as required. You will also provide support with annual reports, during financial and internal audits, and back up and collaborate with other team members in the accounting department. In addition, you will take part in the IBP process as business partner to selected departments within the company, and you are responsible for the cash flow forecast.
In this permanent role you'll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation by applying your experience of accounting in the monthly and yearly reporting. You have a drive to continuously change and improve processes, you are a good communicator and are able to navigate in a dynamic environment.
Key Requirements
• University degree in accounting/finance
• Approximately 5-7 years commercial experience from accounting
• Up to date with relevant compliance requirements and legislation
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal with people from an internal and external perspective
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Service minded with strong integrity
• Strong skills in MS Excel and skilled in MS PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent Swedish and English skills
