Our Light Compaction organization is growing and we are now looking to expand the team with an individual who has specific Light Compaction experience.
We are now looking for a Senior Engineer - Light Compaction equipment

You will be part of a great team located at the Husqvarna Construction headquarter just outside of Gothenburg.
Concrete Surfaces and Floors is a Business Unit within the Husqvarna Construction Division. The BU 's global R&D Team consisting of 70 engaged engineers distributed over 7 dedicated product teams located in Sweden, Bulgaria, India and the US. We innovate within the areas of light compaction, concrete placement, rebar tying, floor sawing, floor grinding and polishing as well as dust and slurry handling equipment.

The job as Senior Engineer
You will, with your special knowledge and experience, contribute to our team 's success from pre-development until product maintenance. We operate in small integrated development teams which pursue fast and frequent iterations. You will work with the whole value chain with interfaces towards purchasing, manufacturing and service.
Some of your main contributions will be to:
Serve the local engineering teams with your light compaction related engineering competence.
Develop concepts for new products with a focus on compaction performance and durability.
Participate in new product development projects and perform design work in Catia v5.
Develop technical documents (tech data sheet, risk assessments, calculations, etc.)
Location: Jonsered, just outside of Gothenburg.
Who are you?
You need to have extensive experience from working as a senior engineer with Light Compaction equipment. We think you have a technical university degree or equivalent.
We believe that you have experience from:
specifying performance characteristics of light compaction equipment.
implementing performance characteristics into design of light compaction equipment
System performance specification
Structured engineering processes such as concept development, 6sigma, etc.
The whole value chain from concept to product in production is valued.
Performing design work in CAD systems
Working in an international environment
