What you will do
An expert who formulates the organizational data strategy, including standards of data quality, the flow of data within the Autonomous Drive Area, and security of data.
You will lead the technical and architectural for the Solution involving development and deployment -ingesting, storing managing, analyzing, and distributing our data to achieve organization's business goals.
Involved in the creation of blueprint for building an integrated framework of easily accessible, secure data aligned with business strategy. You will also be involved in defining the processes for testing and maintaining the data storage including the data distribute sin database and inhouse computational cluster.
You will be working together with skilled Product Owners, Data Engineers, Developers.
What 's in it for you?
For vehicles to reach prominent levels of automation, data driven development is a huge challenge and necessity. We have started to collect copious amounts of Data, collected from cameras, LiDAR's and sensors. The Data Factory team ingests the data from vehicles and through the creation of Data Ingest pipelines and Frameworks the data is pre-processed, labeled, stored, and managed in a storage and compute cluster.
The team plays a vital part in successful deployment of Data Driven frameworks for development, validation and verification of Autonomous Drive Functions and Systems.
Do You fit the Profile?
We are now looking for a Senior data engineer/data architect to act as a technical lead for the design and development of our emerging Data Solution.
Responsibilities:
• Envision data pipelines and how data will flow through the enterprise.
• Managing end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, software framework to handle the data storage units
• Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information
• Evaluate current data management technologies and what additional tools are needed.
• Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the data system
• Build data models for database structures, analytics, and AI applications.
• Integrate new systems and functions like performance, scalability, reliability, and data recovery.
• Research new opportunities and create methods to optimize.
• Develop measures that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
Core Skills and Experience
• Experience in building data pipeline
• Translate business needs to technical capabilities
• Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques
• Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration
• High level programming skills including Python
• Experience in designing Data analytics requirements, visualizations, data migration, Data Lake usage vs warehousing etc
Good to have:
• Autonomous Drive Data integration and interface design landscape (data producers/consumers).
• MSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in relational database management systems DBMS software
• Agile methodologies and enterprise resource planning implementation
