One success factor is to continuously get fast feedback from their consumers and cars, on their products and services.
For this purpose, their consumers of their Co-Development car fleet (CoDev) play a major role.
Their department, Product Validation and Functional Architecture, enable consumer data driven insights within the company in order to understand and confirm consumer value for future and current products.
This is done by refining data from Co-Development platform and by developing tools that enable data collection and visualization.
They are also managing the Co-Development car fleet including the fleet handling process as well as securing driver communication & engagement and managing the CoDev portal App.
What you will do:
As a Sr Data Architect (Data Steward), you will be part of the CoDev Data Team and will define the data governance framework for the data that is owned by our clients organisation.
The data governance framework is based on a common approach defined by their engineering data hub and applied with a federated data operating model.
The goals with the data governance framework include enabling:
• decision making based on consistent, understandable, compliant, and trusted data.
• standard, repeatable processes for data creation and usage.
• common data standards across organisations & data products
Within their department, you will work in close collaboration with the data architect, engineering managers and product owners with the objective to define the strategy around the data they own.
You will also work together with data engineers and data users to perform data stewardship activities.
Within engineering (R&D), you will participate in the data governance forum that develops data standards at the tactical level and connects strategy to operations.
You, and some members from the data governance forum, will lead the data steward network to share best practices regarding data quality management, data discoverability and observability.
You and your skills:
You have knowledge about the hub and spoke model, data governance, data management, data quality management (data profiling, data quality rules, quality monitoring and error handling), data discoverability and observability, data privacy and cybersecurity.
You have also experience from data analysis with different kinds of data types.
You are a strong communicator, who will collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, and in a pedagogical way explain complex topics in a language that suits any audience.
You have the ability to see the big picture and focus on long-term goals and at the same time you are able to balance that with short term needs from our data users.
You have a MSc degree in Engineering, or equivalent area, as well as fluent in English.
