This is a unique opportunity to impact the development of Arla Foods Sweden in an exciting role. You will be able to use your commercial drive, marketing, category and brand expertise, to strengthen the Arla brand and define new innovative ways to further enable and grow the highly important milk, yogurt and milk-based beverage business, whilst strengthening the sustainability agenda, working closely with the owners and other important stakeholders. The position reports to the Managing Director.
Grow a category and develop a department
As our new category and brand director, you define the local category and brand strategies and ensure its execution through annual category and brand business plans. It is your job to deliver on your promises and get results. To do so, you head up a team, with cutting-edge competencies within brand, category, activation, concept and product management. You also lead the in-house agency, coaching and motivating your team to perform at their very best and to deliver outstanding performance.
Commercial marketeer with leadership background
As a heavy hitter within marketing, you have worked across categories and brands, have a profound track record building brands and an excellent flair for detecting and developing business opportunities. In addition, your CV reflects several years of leadership experience during which you have successfully captained a high-performing team of colleagues. You can navigate in a matrix organization with a complex stakeholder landscape.
To facilitate this, you:
• Have solid marketing and brand experience and is a proven leader
• Have a structured and analytical mindset, enabling you to maintain a strategic view on category development
• Have strong commercial acumen that enables you to formulate, follow and follow up on, the strategy
• Speak and write English, Swedish or another Scandinavian language is a plus
